Backed by over 20 years of experience and numerous industry awards, we are well-versed in the preparation of Development Applications. We ensure that our designs are set up for approval while also capitalising on the development’s potential.
A DA is a formal application for development that requires consent under the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A Act).
It includes plans and technical reports, so after all the necessary planning has been completed, it’s time to prepare your proposal for lodgement. This is an important step to get right – ensuring all documentation is completed and compliant to make the DA approval process as smooth as possible.
We work in collaboration with council and certifiers to create a design that’s in keeping with your specifications, as well all their requirements. We take the time to understand your vision and the restraints it is bound by. Using our vast industry knowledge and network, we overcome these restraints and provide a solution that’s unique to your project.
1—Confirmation and acceptance
After an initial consultation and defined scope of work, you accept our proposal and we begin design services
2—Design approval
Floor plans and front elevations are issued for review and approval.
3—Final stage design
The remaining architectural plans are issued for final review and approval.
4—Pre-submission
A completed design package is submitted to the relevant certifying authority for review and determination.
Our team of experts will guide you every step of the way to ensure that there are no surprises, keeping you informed and up to date, ensuring a smooth process.
Some DA Approvals also specify the timeframe that the development should occur within. Our in-house personnel and resources ensure a prompt start and finish to the build.
We are a dedicated and transparent team of industry professionals that are always available to answer your questions.
